PlatinumGames NEO-CLASSIC ARCADE series carries the excitement and fun of traditional gaming, but with the latest technology. The first project is Sol Cresta. Sol Cresta takes the docking and formation strategies of traditional shooting game Moon Cresta and Terra Cresta and enhances them using their “free-form docking” technique. The flagship Yamato, composed of three ships Amaterasu, Tsukuyomi, and Susano can utilize various attacks depending on how three of the ships are placed. One of the key factors to defeating Mandler’s armies of invading troops is to dock splitting and re-forming ships.
